These 3” x 5” multi-media collages are made on pieces of wood, using gel plate printed recycled wallpaper under drawings on sgraffito paper of vessels, embellished with beads, stickers and decorative tape and made in 2024.

Lee Ong is a non-binary spirit animal who in this series embodies the dance movement of crip walking, the line drawings of Keith Haring, and an adventurous worldview.

“Barra Hustle” Series
This series was inspired by a sculpture seen on a bus ride to a beach in Bahia, Brazil. The greeting cards were made from a rubber stamper then embellished; the collage was made from strips of black and white paper; the textile piece is a silk resist batik.
